INTESTMAL, the acronym of INdependent TESTing company of MALaysia, was established in December 29, 1988 during the first and the worst economic recession which struck Malaysia.  Initiated by Entrepreneur Division of Majlis Amanah Rakyat or well known as MARA. Ten local engineering graduates of various technical disciplines were selected to undergo special and intensive training locally and abroad to obtain CSWIP certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT). After been certified deployed to major Steel Fabrication Yards for Jacket and Module Constructions. INTESTMAL became the only Bumiputra company at that time having the largest sources of local certified CSWIP UT practitioner.

Presently INTESTMAL, is one of major players and leader in Quality Assurance services in Malaysia especially in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Plant Engineering Inspection. Currently INTESTMAL offers a wide range of Quality Assurance services from basic NDT to most Advance Technique. INTESTMAL also supplying Professional Manpower, Technical Trainings, Supplier of Inspection Equipment and Consumables, Equipment Calibration and Repair and many more through its subsidiaries and members within the group.

INTESTMAL currently owned two buildings in Puchong, Selangor, one for administrative and another for training centre. INTESTMAL plans to establish more site/branch offices next to oil and gas concentrated areas for better and faster service. INTESTMAL is committed to become a leader in its class offering our service for local and overseas projects either onshore or offshore. INTESTMAL was certified to ISO 9001 version 2008 Quality Management System certification in December 2006. INTESTMAL has invested in the purchase of up to date equipment and inspection tools and the latest technologies to cater the demand of current market and to help our client to fulfill their plant requirements and expectations.
